In Lebanon there is no active program to maintain cultural heritage through attention to the handicraft sector. For this reasons, UNIDO through this project selected a number of
products from rural value chains namely, the Jezzine cutleries, the tulle bi telli embroidery and soap manufacturing. These value chains has been improved by introducing social Design to the core of the products. This will help producers 138 to integrate new contemporary markets.
