Call for Volunteers

Beirut Design Week is few weeks away! 

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers interested in design and cultural events to support the team and take part in the largest growing design festival in the Middle East and North Africa.

If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your network, get exposed to the regional design community, and have fun at the same time, then volunteering at Beirut Design Week is the right place for you!

If you want to volunteer with Beirut Design Week, you must:

• Be proactive in identifying tasks that need to be completed

• Be a community-minded and sociable individual

• Be team-spirited and cooperative

• Be open-minded and respectful

• Be interested in nonprofit management and community development

• Act as BDW ambassador and be committed to maintaining its reputation

Roles and tasks are varied and exciting. The main three categories are:

- Preparations, prior-BDW – from May 16 to May 20 

- During BDW – from May 20 to May 29 

- Post-BDW – May 30 & May 31

Tasks are likely to include setting up exhibitions and spaces, providing information and assistance for visitors, answering questions, registration, ushering, sales, collecting data, photography, uninstalling exhibitions, and various logistics tasks. 

The volunteers will help in BDW central space: KED, located in Karantina, next to Forum de Beyrouth, where various of events will take place (opening ceremony, parties, talks, workshops, film screenings, exhibitions, store) 

All volunteers are required to attend the volunteers training day on Saturday, May 7.
